Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Knitflow! By accessing or using the Knitflow app (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. User Data

  • All user data is securely stored in your iCloud account linked to your Apple ID, ensuring your project data and progress are safe and accessible.
  • The App utilizes Amplitude, an analytics service, to collect anonymous usage data to improve user experience and app performance. No personally identifiable information is shared.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any activity that occurs through your use of the App.

3. Use of the App

  • You agree to use the App for lawful and personal crafting purposes only.
  • You must not use the App to upload, share, or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes upon the rights of others.
  • All content, including patterns and designs uploaded to the App, must comply with copyright laws and be legally owned or properly licensed by you.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated.

4. Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of all project data, including project titles, progress, work sessions, and attached files (e.g., PDF patterns) uploaded to the App.
  • Deleting a project or associated data is irreversible, and you are solely responsible for managing and deleting your content.
  • Knitflow’s brand, logo, design, and user interface are the property of Knitflow and may not be used for commercial or unlawful purposes without permission.
  • You may not transfer, sell, or assign the ownership of the App or any third-party content (such as patterns, videos, or images) stored within the App to any other person or entity.

5. Premium Features & Subscription

  • Knitflow offers premium features through a subscription model.
  • Subscription details, including duration and pricing, are clearly displayed within the App before purchase.
  • Subscriptions are auto-renewable unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Payments are processed through your Apple ID, and cancellations can be managed through your App Store settings.
  • Refunds are not provided for partially used subscription periods.
  • Additional premium features may be introduced, and changes to the subscription model will be communicated in advance.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is collected, used, and stored.
  • By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  • The App collects anonymized usage data through Amplitude to analyze app performance and enhance the user experience. This data does not include personal information and is used solely for app improvements.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided “as-is” without any warranties, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • Knitflow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Due to technical issues such as network failures, system errors, or development-related problems, data related to your projects, row counters, timers, and attached patterns may be lost. Knitflow is not responsible for any data loss or damages resulting from these issues. We recommend regularly backing up important data.
  • If any external links (e.g., YouTube videos) saved in the App become invalid or unavailable, any related pattern data may be lost. Knitflow is not responsible for the availability or continued accessibility of external content.
  • Knitflow is not responsible for any data overwrite or loss caused by using multiple devices connected to the same iCloud account. Users are advised to ensure proper synchronization across devices.

8. Changes to the Terms

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notifications or email.
  • Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, South Korea.
